Wentworth Falls Accommodation

Wentworth Falls, known as “An Explorers Village”, is one of the most beautiful towns in the Blue Mountains. It is popular for its fantastic bushwalks, stunning views and waterfalls, charming streets and fine accommodation.

There are two distinct areas of Wentworth Falls, as it is divided by the Great Western Hwy:

  • The first area is on your right if driving from Sydney. Turn right at the set of lights at Station Street just after the Grand View Hotel. Here you will find the charming Wentworth Falls railway station together with pretty gardens, interesting shops and some very appealing cafes and restaurants including Blue Mist, Seven, Fed, and Il Postino’s in the old post office building.

  • The other part of Wentworth Falls is further along the Great Western Highway where you turn left into Falls Road.

Falls Road

Tree-lined Falls Road is a beautiful road featuring very attractive homes, typical of the Blue Mountains. Visit the Falls Gallery (www.fallsgallery.com.au) at 161 Falls Road, open 10-5 Wednesday-Sunday and public holidays.

Wentworth Falls Lookout

At the end of Falls Road is Wentworth Falls Picnic Area. The picnic area is in a lovely, natural bush setting with picnic tables and barbeques. From the carpark there is easy, level access to Jamison Lookout and Wentworth Falls Lookout. Many bushwalks can be accessed from here. The National Parks & Wildlife information boards at the lookouts give a good explanation of walking options and times taken. The shortest walk from this location is the 15 minute Short Cut Track to Conservation Hut.

Conservation Hut Cafe

Located at the end of Fletcher Street, at the top of the Valley of the Waters, Conservation Hut enjoys spectacular views of the Jamison Valley and is the starting point for many popular bushwalks including the National Pass. The Conservation Hut offers excellent food and opens 7 days from 9am (10am public holidays). Information and advice on attractions in the area is also available. Telephone 02-4757-3827. The National Pass Walk

The National Pass is a spectacular, six kilometre, award-winning walk running along and under the cliff edge between Wentworth Falls Picnic Area carpark and Conservation Hut. It features breathtaking views and passes a number of stunning waterfalls. See - www.nationalpass.com.au/wentworth_falls_lookout.php - for details.
