Weather - Blue Mountains
The climate and weather in the Blue Mountains is said to have the world's most equitable climate.
Uniquely and substantially different climates exist close together in the Blue Mountains. Faulconbridge’s elevation at the foot of the mountains is 439m (91463ft), Katoomba is at 1017m (93336ft) more than twice the elevation.
The higher towns then are colder and get more rain also having snow fall at least once a year. There is a mild temperature range, rainfall evenly distributed though out the year, a high percentage of oxygen in the air and mild humidity range. The range of the overall temperature is mild.
If you are trying to decide when to visit it really depends on what you want to do there. There are many different experiences to be had and every season presents different opportunites to get the best out of the Mountains.
