Cathy Armstrong has been making delicious jams for seven years. After moving to Leura three years ago, Cathy has opened Princess Pantry to showcase her jams and the things she loves. You will find unique and pretty items here. As well as home-made jams Cathy has gorgeous cushions, aprons, tea cosies, girls party dresses, scarves, organic flower oils and wonderful gift ideas. Princess Pantry is in Leura Mall, down the lane next to the Post Office in a small shop that used to be the Postmaster's kitchen.

Don't go past Lawson without stopping at Rick Rutherford's amazing country store. Housed in historic 'Badger House', this shop is so wonderful we should be including it on our Blue Mountains Attractions page!

See the American room filled with gorgeous quilts, the pretty Victorian room, the Retro Country room, the children’s room, the Coastal Corner with beach-inspired treasures, the French quarter area, the Cottage room with blue and white china on whitewashed dressers, the classic English room with vintage china, and the Christmas room - open all year.

The Slow Food Shopping Trail for Fashionistas

This wonderful 'shopping trail' has an emphasis on "op-shops, retro/recycled clothing shops and vintage clothing; and a number of other shops selling new clothing using ethical fibres". There are also some good places to eat along the way. The Trail takes in the Blue Mountains towns of Glenbrook, Springwood, Wentworth Falls and Katoomba.
