Shipley Plateau is on the western side of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains.

Access to the Shipley Plateau is by turning right at the intersection of the Great Western Highway and Govetts Leap Rd in Blackheath. Cross the railway line and take Shipley Road. There are many places to stay on the Shipley side of Blackheath with wonderful views over the Kanimbla and Megalong Valleys.
