Kanimbla Valley
The Kanimbla Valley is about 135 kms north-west of Sydney. Neighbouring the Megalong Valley, the Kanimbla Valley can be accessed by taking the Great Western Hwy through Mt Victoria, down the Victoria Pass, then left onto the Coxs River Road.
Views of the Kanimbla Valley can be seen from Mount Blackheath Lookout on the Shipley Plateau (near Blackheath) and Mt Victoria.
The Kanimbla Valley is an area of rolling green hills and spectacular views of the Blue Mountains escarpment. There are many wonderful places to stay and it is a good base for touring the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves and Lithgow areas.
