Hazelbrook
Hazelbrook is a small town in the Blue Mountains, between Woodford and Lawson. It is located 90 kms from Sydney, 674m above sea level.
Hazelbrook became a popular mountain destination following the opening of the railway station in 1884. The railway station was opposite one of the town’s first homes – Hazelbrook House, which was built in 1870. It was from this home, which is no longer standing, that Hazelbrook takes its name.
These days Hazelbrook is primarily a residential area.
Garden Festival
The Hazelbrook-Woodford Garden Festival is held every September. Local gardens are open to the public between 10am and 4pm.
