Winter Magic 2010

Winter Magic Festival Saturday 19th June 2010

Katoomba NSW Australia

With only 8 days to go it’s time to figure out what you’re going to wear, what you’re going to see and where and when you’re meeting
friends and family. As our contribution we have just completed the Festival
programme
and a Katoomba Town Map keyed to stages to help you find your way around.

We have a terrific lineup of performers. The Crooked Fiddle Band, hugely popular at Winter Magic 2009, is back on the
Carrington Place main stage. Add the Barons of Tang, Dirty Lindy, the Blue Mountains Jazz Ensemble and this will be the place to be.
The exhilerating Babalu will close the day with their big sound at 7pm directly after the Fireworks.

We are particularly excited to have Laura Hill on the programme. Laura will perform at 2pm in the Carrington Ballroom where she will
be joined by Wheelers and Dealers, “Katoomba Nights” Michael Norton, Peter Long, 5 Leaves Left, Simon Watts and Glenn
Skarratt
. There will also be a special appearance from Devi Mamak Ghawazi Caravan at 1pm.

Festival favourites Ruby Bloomers Women’s Circus, magician / juggling team Jonas Jost and Johnny Balance will
perform in the Carrington’s Baroque Room along with Sideshow Annie and Anne
Ridgeway.

Matt and Millie Hope have been putting together the largest and most amazing collection of stalls that Winter Magic has seen
so get there early. If you haven’t there early morning for the setup it is a great time to experience pre-festival excitement before the crowd arrives
and watch the way the day builds.

Along with Festival President, Michael Brischetto, and a dedicated Festival Committee they are working to putting together the final plans and
arrangements. At the same time, we can still use some help. If you have an hour or two to assist us on the day please join our small but enthusiastic
and growing team of volunteers by completing the Volunteer Form
here
or just turn up to the Information Stand Festival morning ready for action.
